English Getaway is a unique language immersion experience where native English speakers from all over the world live side by side with Spanish participants in a 100% English speaking community. We offer our volunteers the opportunity to join in a diverse cultural experience while, at the same time, enjoying the satisfaction of helping numerous people improve their language skills and confidence.

Although the main goal of your volunteering experience at English Getaway is to help the Spanish students to improve their English, the overall experience is much more than that.

• You will gain a deeper understanding of the Spanish culture than you ever could as a normal tourist, and without the necessity of having to communicate in Spanish.
• You will have a chance to experience the region of Asturias, with some of the most impressive natural areas in Spain.
• You will have the opportunity to try typical Asturian food, known throughout Spain for its exceptional quality.
• You will participate in a variety of activities, designed to keep you stimulated and entertained.
